Whiskies from Akkeshi Distillery are also featured at Polo Bar. Established in 2016, Akkeshi is a relatively new distillery that harnesses the favorable aging environment of Akkeshi Town in Hokkaido, producing distinctive whiskies using traditional Scottish techniques.
These Hokkaido whiskies allow guests to savor the unique characteristics of each distillery and appreciate the diverse terroir of Hokkaido through taste—a rare and valuable experience.
Other rare brands exclusive to Hokkaido are also available, such as Mars Whisky Dake Kanba, and Matsui Single Malt Sakura Cask, matured in precious cherry wood barrels with distillate produced at the foot of Mount Daisen in the San’in region—wines and whiskies that cannot be encountered elsewhere.

Furthermore, Polo Bar offers wines perfect for a relaxed post-meal moment, including selections from Tsukigata Winery in Southern Hokkaido and Okushiri Winery.
Tsukigata Winery, located in Toyako Town, cultivates grapes taking advantage of the cool climate. The wines produced here are characterized by a well-balanced acidity and fruity aroma.
Okushiri Winery, situated on Okushiri Island in southwestern Hokkaido facing the Sea of Japan, grows rare grape varieties under unique climatic conditions. The sea breeze enriches the soil with minerals, resulting in wines with distinctive flavors.

For sweet white wines, we recommend the Chitose Winery’s Kita Wine Kerner Late Harvest.
