“CIEL et NUAGE” means “Sky and Clouds” in French.
We chose this name to reflect our vision of being “the dining restaurant closest to the sky,” inspired by our location—situated high up with a sweeping view of Lake Toya below. The blue sky stretching beyond the windows, the slowly drifting clouds, and the lake surface shimmering in the morning sun—these breathtaking natural vistas are an integral part of the dining experience we offer.
